One of my favorite treats are roasted brussel sprouts.

My personal nutrition is vegan or plant-based, meaning that I do not eat dairy, animal, fish, or egg products. I started eating this way about a year ago after I read The China Study by T. Colin Campbell. It is a great book that I recommend for anyone who loves science because it is really heavy on the science behind how our bodies respond to different foods that we eat. If you are not into science, do not worry, I will share some other books that I found interesting on the subject of vegan eating, and you can decide for yourself if it is right for you. Personally, I eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, but I also enjoy some cooked dishes as well. As time goes on, I plan to use this blog to show what I like to eat and how eating healthy and vegan can be as exciting and as delicious as a standard American diet 🙂
